Fire Engulfs Factory In Kodala, Goods Worth Crores Reduced To Ashes

Ganjam: A fire broke out at a factory in the Kodala area of Ganjam district reducing goods worth crores to ashes.

As per reports, the fire broke out around 4-5 am. Tej Agro factory, owned by Jagannath Sahu, produced a variety of food items, including soft drinks, cakes, and bread. The fire ravaged the entire factory, destroying almost all the raw materials, goods, and machinery.

Upon being informed, the Kodala fire team arrived at the scene and managed to bring the fire under control. However, by then, the damage had already been done, and the factory had been reduced to ashes.

The exact cause of the fire is still unknown, but preliminary investigations suggest that a short circuit may have triggered the blaze. The police have launched an investigation into the incident.
