Fishermen Stranded In Sea At Paradip Return Safely

Bhubaneswar: The seven fishermen stranded in their boat near the Mahanadi River mouth at Paradip after engine failure for more than two hours on Friday evening have returned safely to the coast, informed Special Relief Commissioner (SRC).

The SRC on learning about the incident had directed the Fishery and ARD Department and Coast Guard at Paradip to take immediate steps for the safe return of the stranded fishermen.

The SRC had instructed the ADM, Paradip to co-ordinate the matter.
