Bhubaneswar: In a significant crackdown on narcotics trafficking, Sector-19 Police in Rourkela on Friday foiled a contraband smuggling attempt and seized nearly 10 kilograms of ganja. One person was arrested in connection with the case, while two of his associates managed to flee the scene under the cover of darkness.
The arrested accused has been identified as Bikash Satnami. His accomplices, Jagan Tanty and Gochi Singh, are currently absconding. Police said efforts are underway to trace and apprehend them.
