Bhubaneswar: The state government will distribute one lakh more pucca houses under the Antyodaya Gruha Yojana next month. Panchayati Raj Minister Rabi Narayan Naik has informed that five lakh people will receive houses over the next three years.
One lakh more beneficiaries will be included in the Mukhyamantri Antyodaya Gruha Yojana, with a focus on physically disabled individuals, those affected by natural disasters, and Padma awardees. In the first phase, 60,000 beneficiaries were included.
The housing survey is ongoing and will continue until the end of May. So far, 2.9 million beneficiaries have participated in the survey, for which widespread awareness was created to encourage participation.
