Bhubaneswar: At least 10 teams of the Income-Tax department continued their raids at the coaching center and residences of Subrat Kumar Chhatoi in Bhubaneswar, Nimpara, and other places in Odisha for the second consecutive day on Tuesday.

While I-T officials are tight-lipped regarding the raids, it has been learned that they have seized several important documents as well as the bank details of Chhatoi.

According to reports, Chhatoi allegedly evaded taxes worth lakhs of rupees. The raids began at 4.00 am on Monday.

In March 2023, a team of the Central Goods and Services Tax (GST) department raided multiple locations linked to Chhatoi on allegations of tax evasion.
