Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a nowcast warning for moderate thunderstorms with lightning over three districts of Odisha on Friday.
According to the alert issued at 1:24 pm, moderate thunderstorms accompanied by lightning are very likely to occur at isolated places over Jajpur, Kendujhar and Sundargada districts in the next three hours. The warning remains valid until 4:24 pm.
Residents in the affected districts have been cautioned to remain careful and take necessary precautions during the period of the warning.
