Bhubaneswar: The regional office of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) in Bhubaneswar on Sunday forecast occurrence of dense fog in several parts of Odisha during the next 24 hours. According to the weather office, foggy mornings are likely in several areas of the state as the low-pressure-induced rain has subsided.
A yellow warning for dense fog has been issued for six districts including Jharsuguda, Keonjhar, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Rayagada, and Koraput. The IMD has also forecast a drop in night temperature by 2°C – 4°C across the state and return of the cold wave.
At the same time, some areas in Ganjam, Gajapati, Koraput, and Rayagada. Many regions are witnessing foggy conditions and advised people to take precautions while commuting travel due to low visibility.
