IMD Predicts Intense Rainfall In 6 Odisha Dists In Next 3 Hours

Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department has forecast light to moderate rains and thundershowers, with a chance of one to two spells of intense to heavy rainfall likely to affect some regions of Boudh, Kandhamal, Balangir, Kalahandi, Ganjam, and Gajapati within the next three hours.

In its nowcast report, the IMD warned against waterlogging in low-lying areas, poor visibility, and traffic disruption in urban areas.

The weather department has urged people to avoid movement in waterlogged areas and ensure proper drainage arrangements in case of excess water.

People are advised to keep a watch on the weather and act accordingly.
