Malkangiri: Kendu leaves worth lakhs of rupees were reduced to ashes after a massive fire broke out in the godown at MV-3 village in Malkangiri district.
According to reports, the fire engulfed the entire godown within hours. After receiving information, fire service personnel reached the spot and doused the flames. By the time, a huge amount of leaves were burnt.
The owner of the godown Gopal Sikadar broke down for the heavy loss he incurred following the fire mishap.
The reason of blaze remains unclear. Police started an investigation to find out the reason of the fire.
