Keonjhar: Mystery shrouds the death of a murder accused in Keonjhar district whose body was found in Jharsuguda on Sunday.
Keonjhar SP Kusalkar Nitin Dagudu said that the accused Ajay Sahoo was found dead beside railway tracks near Jharsuguda railway station. Ajay was the prime suspect in the murder of a woman in Keonjhar town and has been absconding.
Initial investigation into the murder of the woman, identified as Manorama, hinted that Ajay frequently visit Manorama’s house in Barala Lodge lane in Keonjhar town. He had gone to meet her on October 4, the day when the woman was found with her throat slit inside her house. The police suspect that Ajay was responsible for her death.
The police are, however, yet to unravel the mystery behind the deaths of Ajay and Manorama.
