Bhubaneswar: The KIIT University campus in Bhubaneswar is set to host the Grand Finale of the 61st Femina Miss India on April 18, 2026, marking a historic milestone as the first time the pageant’s finale is being held in East India.
This year’s edition, themed ‘Connecting the DOTS’ (Daughters of This Soil), celebrates the diversity, strength, and spirit of Indian womanhood with 30 daughters from 30 states standing together on one stage.
As per reports, KIIT and Femina Miss India formalized their partnership on Wednesday through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony, paving the way for KIIT to host the 61st Femina Miss India Grand Finale on April 18 in Bhubaneswar. This landmark event marks KIIT as the first university in India to host this prestigious national event and the first time the grand finale is being organized in eastern India.
The MoU was signed in the presence of Achyuta Samanta, Founder of KIIT and Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS), by Saranjit Singh, Vice Chancellor of KIIT; SS Ray, Director General of the KIIT School of Architecture; and Rohit Gopakumar, Chief Executive Officer of The Times Group.
The event is a collaboration between Worldwide Media and KIIT Bhubaneswar, with a shared vision to celebrate talent, ambition, and the spirit of young India.
Reigning titleholders Nikita Porwal, Rekha Pandey, and Aayushi Dholakia will be in attendance, making this event one of the most iconic nights in Femina Miss India and Odisha’s history.
