Bhubaneswar: Odisha Krushi Mahakumbh – Krushi Odisha 2026 is going to be held from January 22nd to 24th at Biju Patnaik Sports ground, Baramunda, Bhubaneswar.
With the joint promotion of the state government and the Agriculture and Farmers’ Empowerment Department, this time it will be even more extensive and grander than last year.
This year’s theme is “Building Resilience through Inclusive Agriculture”. Krushi Odisha 2026 will be a conference of a large number of farmers, agricultural scientists, agri researchers and policy makers.
The state government aims to further empower the farmers of Odisha through agri- education camps, modern agricultural machinery display and its demonstration, usage & demonstration of advanced agricultural machineries, equipments, techniques, knowledge and skills etc.
In this context, a meeting was held today at Lok Seva Bhawan to discuss the preparations for Krushi Odisha-2026. In the meeting, Additional Chief Secretary, Agriculture & Farmers’ Empowerment Department, Dr. Arabinda Kumar Padhee, apprised Deputy Chief Minister and Minister of Agriculture, Farmers’ Empowerment and Energy, Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo about the preparations.
Director Horticulture, Kalunge Gorakh Waman, senior officers from the department were also present on the occasion.
