Puri: Lifeguards saved four tourists from drowning in the Puri sea today.
According to reports, the tourists, all from West Bengal, were bathing in Sector 9 sea when they were swept away by strong rip currents and high waves.
The lifeguards, acting swiftly, jumped into the deep sea and rescued the tourists, bringing them back to safety. The rescued tourists were bathing in the sea when they got caught in the rip current and were struggling to swim back to shore. However, the lifeguards’ prompt action averted a potential tragedy by saving them from drowning.
The tourists have been advised to exercise caution while bathing in the sea and to follow safety guidelines to avoid such mishaps.
