Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department has issued a nowcast warning for Odisha, cautioning of light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by lightning in 16 districts over the next 3 hours.
According to the nowcast warning issued at 1:05 pm, 16 districts are likely to be affected. These include Sambalpur, Koraput, Mayurbhanj, Deogarh, Anugul, Nuapada, Balangir, Balasore, Nayagarh, Boudh, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur, Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Malkangiri and Kendujhar.
The IMD has advised people in the affected areas to stay alert and keep a watch on weather conditions.
