Baragada: A woman was allegedly beaten to death by her husband on Monday following a quarrel in Gadatia Tikra village under Attabira police station limits in Baragada district, police said.
The deceased was identified as Bhagyabati Khadia. Her husband, Rajkumar Khadia, has been arrested on the charge of murdering her and is being interrogated by the Attabira police.
According to available reports, the incident took place in Gadatia Tikra village under Amalipali gram panchayat following a quarrel between the couple. The woman was allegedly assaulted by her husband and succumbed to her injuries.
Police reached the spot and launched an investigation into the incident.
