Man Hacks One-&-Half-Year-Old Son To Death In Rourkela, Arrested

Rourkela: In a shocking incident, a man allegedly hacked his one-and-a-half-year-old son to death with an axe over a family dispute on Thursday at Lungadha basti of Garjan gram panchayat under Brahmani Tarang police limits on the outskirts of Rourkela in Sundargarh district.

The accused’s wife Pramila Singh and two of their neighbours Laki Kumbhar and Ghasi Kisan have been critically injured in the incident.

The accused identified as Budheswar Singh has been arrested.

The three injured persons have been admitted to the Rourkela Govt Hospital.

Police have seized the axe used in the crime.

Brahmani Tarang police have seized the body and have launched an investigation into the murder.
