Bhubaneswar: A man was seriously injured after a tourist bus allegedly hit his motorcycle near PMG Square in Bhubaneswar on Sunday afternoon.
According to reports, the tourist bus was travelling from PMG Square towards Master Canteen Square when it collided with the motorcycle. The impact left the biker seriously injured.
Locals rushed the injured man to Capital Hospital for treatment soon after the accident.
Residents in the area alleged that the bus driver was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident. However, the allegation has not yet been officially confirmed.
Following the accident, personnel from Capital Police Station and Kharavela Nagar Police Station reached the spot and launched an investigation.
Further investigation is underway.
