Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s newly appointed Chief Information Commissioner, Manoj Kumar Parida, along with three State Information Commissioners—Pranabindu Acharya, Pabitra Mandal, and Kalpana Pattnaik—took their oath of office and secrecy on Friday.
The oath of office was administered by Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati at Raj Bhavan.
Following the Governor’s approval, Sanjay Kumar Singh, Principal Secretary of the Information and Public Relations Department, read out the appointment orders for the Chief Information Commissioner and the State Information Commissioners.
The event was attended by notable dignitaries, including Odisha Assembly Speaker Surama Padhi, Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida, ministers Suresh Pujari, Prithiviraj Harichandan, and KC Patra, Odisha Human Rights Commission Chairperson Justice Satrughana Pujahari, State Information Commissioner Susanta Kumar Mohanty and senior officials from various departments.
