Massive Fire Destroys Property Worth Lakhs In Bhadrak Village

Bhadrak: A fire broke out at Sahu Sahi in Saramara village of Bhadrak district late Saturday night, causing extensive damage to property worth lakhs of rupees.

According to reports, the fire started due to a gas leak from a gas tank at Sahu Sahi late Saturday night. A seven-room house belonging to six brothers caught fire while people were inside.

The intensity of the fire was such that all the furniture, household items, a motorcycle, and clothes in the house were reduced to ashes.

On receiving the information, fire brigade personnel reached the spot and extinguished the fire.

No casualties have been reported so far, but the exact cause of the gas leak is under investigation.
