Matric Examination To Begin From Feb 20

Cuttack: The Matric examination conducted by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) in Odisha will begin on February 20 and will continue till March 4.

As many as 5, 51, 611 candidates will appear for the examination at 2,991 examination centers across the State, BSE president Ramasis Hajra informed at a press conference.

As many as 313 nodal centers will be set up to store question papers. A three-tiered security system will be adopted for conducting the test.

Students will write for MIL on the first day i.e February 29 of the examination while the Examination for English and Match will be held on February 23 and February 26 respectively.

The test for the third language will be conducted on February 28. General science and social science will be held on March 2 and 4 respectively.

The evaluation will commence from March 15. The evaluation process will be completed within 12 days.

Students can rectify their photo and other details from tomorrow. The process will continue till February 21.

Similarly, the class IX  annual examination will be conducted between March 6 and 15, the board president said.
