Bhubaneswar: Miscreants opened fire at a minor boy leaving him critically injured at Sanakerejang Gochhayat Sahi under Nisa police limits in Angul district.
According to eyewitnesses, the minor received gunshots in one of his legs and was immediately rushed to the Angul District Headquarters Hospital for treatment. Later, he was shifted to the SCB Medical College in Cuttack as his condition deteriorated.
Upon being informed, police launched an investigation into the incident and are trying to identify the culprit. The motive behind the attack is still unclear.
The incident has sent shockwaves through the community. The shooting is alleged to have sparked by a relatively insignificant or minor issue.
