Minor Boy’s Body Found Under Railway Bridge In Rairangpur, Family Alleges Murder

Baripada: The body of a minor boy was found floating in the water under the Tanga railway bridge in Rairangpur town on Monday.

The deceased minor boy has been identified as Shiekh Alam of Thakurbeda Muslim Sahi of Rairangpur town.

According to reports, Alam had gone to hang out with his friends on Sunday. As he did not return home by evening, his family had verbally informed the police.

On finding Alam’s body floating in the stream under the railway bridge, his family has alleged it to be a case of murder. However, it is suspected that the child could have drowned while bathing in the stream.

Rairangpur police have registered an unnatural death case and are investigating the matter.
