Sundargarh: A group of miscreants on late Wednesday looted cash by cutting open an unattended automated teller machine (ATM) at Mahulipali under Sadar police limits in Sundargarh district.
Initial investigation suggests, the miscreants allegedly broke the wall attached to the ATM kiosk. They used gas cutters to steal the money from the kiosk. However, police are yet to reveal the exact amount of money stolen by the miscreants.
Police and a scientific team rushed to the spot after being informed by the landlord.
Police said, the miscreants failed to cut the cash chamber and fled the scene.
