Cuttack: Passengers had a miraculous escape when a ‘Mo Bus’ caught fire in Cuttack on Saturday evening.

According to reports, the incident occurred near Madhupatna Chhak at around 8:15 PM. The bus, which was travelling along the Link Road, suddenly caught fire. Fortunately, all passengers evacuated the vehicle in time, avoiding any injuries.

However, the bus was completely gutted by the flames before Fire Brigade personnel could arrive and extinguish the blaze.

Preliminary investigations suggest that an electrical fault may have triggered the fire. The exact cause is still under investigation.

The incident caused significant traffic disruption, leaving hundreds of vehicles stranded on both sides of the road.
