Mother-Daughter Duo Dies After Snake Bite In Keonjhar

Keonjhar: A devastating incident has occurred in Barbil under Patna police station in Keonjhar district, where an elderly woman and her daughter died due to snake bite. Phulmani Naik and her daughter Yatri Naik were bitten by a venomous snake while sleeping on the floor of their house.

The family members had first taken them to a quack instead of a hospital. With quack’s treatment, Yatri’s condition worsened, and she was taken to Thakurmunda Hospital, where she tragically died.

Phulmani Naik returned to her home in Kashipur, where she also died later. The double tragedy has cast a pall of grief over the local area, leaving the villagers in shock
