Bhubaneswar: Leader of Opposition (LoP) Naveen Patnaik has expressed deep sorrow over the bus accident in Nayagarh which claimed five people were killed and 10 others injured.
Patnaik has prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls and wished for the swift recovery of the injured, extending his condolences to the families of the victims.
He wrote: “I am deeply saddened to learn of the bus accident involving pilgrims in Nayagarh, which has resulted in the loss of several lives and injuries to many others. I pray for the eternal peace of the departed souls, as well as the swift recovery and best possible medical care for the injured. I extend my deepest condolences to the families as they face this heartbreaking time.”
Notanly, the accident occurred around 1 am on National Highway 57 near Takara Ghati when the bus, carrying around 60 passengers, overturned after hitting a rock while traveling from Berhampur to Harishankar.
