Bhubaneswar: The National Informatics Centre, Odisha, has been awarded the 19th National Digital Transformation Gold Award-2025 for the project ‘Odisha Disaster Resource Network – Every Life is Precious’ in the ‘Crisis Response Digital Innovation Award’ category.
At the Digital Transformation Conclave, 2025, held in Bhubaneswar, Deputy Director General and State Informatics Officer Dr. Ashok Kumar Hota, Smt. Mamata Khamari, Deputy Director General, Jayant Kumar Mishra, Senior Director (Technical), and Ravindra Kumar Maharana, Director (Technical), received the award.
Odisha Disaster Resource Network (ODRN) is a centralised Geographic Information System-based digital platform (https://odrn.nic.in/) developed for the Odisha State Disaster Management Authority (OSDMA).
It will help in enhancing disaster preparedness, response and recovery in Odisha by tracking and managing critical resources like human resources, infrastructure and equipment required during cyclones, floods, droughts and other disasters.
The State Information Science Officer congratulated and thanked everyone for achieving another significant milestone in bringing digital transformation to the state administration and the people of Odisha.
