Nowcast Warning: 10 Odisha Districts To Receive Moderate Rain Within 3 Hours

Bhubaneswar: Light to moderate rain with thundershowers and lightning is likely to occur in some regions of Balangir, Nuapada, Kalahandi, Subarnapur, Boudh, Kandhamal, Angul, Dhenkanal, Ganjam and Nayagarh districts in the next three hours, according to a Nowcast report from the India Meteorological Department.

The weather office has issued a ‘Yellow’ warning for the aforementioned districts, alerting people to the bad weather conditions.

The IMD has also warned people residing in these areas about the probability of lightning strikes.

“People are advised to keep a watch on the weather and move to safer places accordingly to protect themselves from lightning strikes,” reads the notification from the Regional Centre of IMD.
