Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow warning for light to moderate rain accompanied by thunderstorms over 14 districts of Odisha for the next three hours.
According to the nowcast warning issued at 13:20 pm today, light to moderate rainfall with lightning is very likely to occur at isolated places over the districts of Sundargarh, Angul, Sambalpur, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Jajpur, Cuttack, Khordha, Puri, Ganjam, Boudh, Rayagada, Gajapati, and Deogarh.
The Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar, has advised people to remain alert and keep a close watch on the weather for any worsening conditions.
Citizens have been urged to plan their outdoor activities accordingly and take necessary precautions for their safety.
