Odisha Cabinet’s Major Decision On Lease Deeds For IDCO Allotted Land

Bhubaneswar: In a bid to promote and facilitate entrepreneurship and development of industries, the State Government has decided to exempt lease deed fees on surrender of IDCO allotted land.

Following the Cabinet meeting on Monday, the State Government announced that the decision was taken “for better utilization of unused portion of leased land, by the units / lessees from IDCO and to facilitate the prospective entrepreneurs for development of Industries in the State”.

“Stamp duty and registration fees on deed executed for surrender / rectification of lease between party already allotted land by IDCO and fresh lease deed between IDCO and the concerned party for part of the surrendered land is exempted,” a press note by the State Government stated.
