Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and Deputy Chief Ministers Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo and Pravati Parida extended heartfelt greetings to the people of the state on the occasion of Saraswati Puja.
Taking to the social media platform X, Chief Minister Majhi said, “On this sacred day of Vasant Panchami, I offer my humble prayers to Goddess Saraswati, the giver of knowledge. Maa Saraswati, please bless everyone with the right intellect and prosperity. May the darkness of ignorance be dispelled by the light of knowledge. Heartfelt greetings to all on the occasion of Saraswati Puja.”
Deputy Chief Minister Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo also shared his greetings on X, quoting Sanskrit shlokas, “Yā kundaindu tuṣārahāra-dhavalā, yā śubhravastrā-vṛtā, yā vīṇāvaradaṇḍa-maṇḍita-karā, yā śvetapadmāsanā…” He added, “To all the people of Odisha, I extend my heartfelt greetings and best wishes on the sacred occasion of Vasant Panchami and Saraswati Puja. By the boundless grace of Maa Saraswati, may the darkness of ignorance in everyone’s mind be dispelled, and may the lamp of knowledge shine brightly in all hearts.”
Similarly, Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida conveyed her greetings on X, stating, “On this sacred occasion of Shrī Panchami and Saraswati Puja, I extend my heartfelt greetings and best wishes to all of you.”
The leaders emphasised the importance of knowledge, learning, and wisdom, wishing that Goddess Saraswati’s blessings illuminate every home and mind.
