Bhubaneswar: In a major relief for candidates applying for elementary school teacher posts, the Odisha government has extended the validity period of Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test qualifying certificates.
The validity of OTET qualifying certificates has been extended from the earlier 7 years to a lifetime.
All candidates once qualified in OTET will be eligible to appear in recruitments to be held in the future for the engagement of teachers in the elementary cadre.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s office has informed this through a tweet.
