Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Friday effected a minor reshuffle in the IAS cadre.
According to a notification issued by the General Administration & Public Grievance Department issued on Friday, 1997 batch IAS officer Sanjay Kumar Singh has been appointed as Principal Secretary of Works Department. He has been allowed to remain in additional charge of Principal Secretary of Information & Public Relation Department and Principal Secretary of Food Supplies & Consumer Welfare Department.
Similarly, 2008 batch IAS officer Yamini Sarangi Commissioner of Commercial Taxes & GST with additional charge of Special Secretary of Finance Department has been allowed to remain in additional charge of Commissioner-cum-Secretary of Rural Development Department.
Besides, according to a separate notification issued by the General Administration & Public Grievance Department, 1996 batch IAS officer Vir Vikram Yadav, at present Principal Secretary of Works Department with additional charge of Commissioner, Trade Promotion and Investment and Member Secretary, Odisha State Commission for Backward Classes has been relieved from the State Government with effect from today afternoon to enable him to join his new assignment as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, Government of India, New Delhi.
