Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government today effected a minor reshuffle at the senior IAS officer level.
According to a notification issued by the General Administration & Public Grievance Department 1995 batch senior IAS officer Bishnupada Sethi has been appointed as Principal Secretary to Government, Higher Education Department.
He is allowed to remain in additional charge of Principal Secretary to Government, Commerce & Transport Department.
The additional appointment of Saswata Mishra as Principal Secretary to Government, Higher Education Department shall stand terminated from the date Sethi takes over, the notification added.
Similarly, on return from Central Deputation, 1996 batch IAS officer Arabinda Kumar Padhee, is appointed as Principal Secretary to Government, Agriculture & Farmers’ Empowerment Department. He is allowed to remain in additional charge of Principal Secretary to Government, Fisheries & Animal Resources Development Department.
The additional appointment of Sanjeev Chopra, as Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Agriculture & Farmers’ Empowerment Department shall stand terminated from the date Padhee takes over, the notification said.
Besides, 1997 batch IAS officer Sanjay Kumar Singh is appointed as Principal Secretary to Government, Rural Development Department. He is allowed to remain in additional charge of Principal Secretary to Government, Information & Public Relations Department, Vice-Chairman, Bhubaneswar Development Authority and M.D., Bhubaneswar Smart City Ltd, the notification stated.
The notification said that additional appointment of Pradeep Kumar Jena as Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Rural Development Department shall stand terminated from the date Singh takes over.
Further, on return from Central Deputation, 2003 batch IAS officer Aswathy S is appointed as Commissioner-cum-Secretary to Government, School & Mass Education Department.
