Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Saturday effected a minor reshuffle among senior level IAS officers.
According to notification issued by the General Administration & Public Grievance Department on Saturday, 1993 batch IAS officer Deoranjan Kumar Singh, Additional Chief Secretary Revenue & Disaster Management Department with additional charge of Special Relief Commissioner, and Managing Director of Odisha State Disaster Management Authority is allowed to remain in additional charge of Chairman, Odisha Forest Development Corporation (OFDC).
The additional appointment of IAS officer Vishal Kumar Dev as Chairman, OFDC shall stand terminated from the date Singh takes over.
Similarly, 1996 batch IAS officer Vishal Kumar Dev, Principal Secretary to E & IT Department with additional charge of Chairman, OCAC is allowed to remain in additional charge of Principal Secretary, Energy Department.
The additional appointment of IAS officer Hemant Sharma, as Principal Secretary, Energy Department shall stand terminated from the date Dev takes over.
Besides, 1997 batch IAS officer Sanjay Kumar Singh, Principal Secretary Rural Development Department with additional charge of Principal Secretary I & PR Department is allowed to remain in additional charge of Principal Secretary Food Supplies & Consumer Welfare Department.
The additional appointment IAS officer Vir Vikram Yadav, as Principal Secretary Food Supplies & Consumer Welfare Department shall stand terminated from the date Singh takes over.
Further, 1999 batch IAS officer Bhaskar Jyoti Sarma Principal Secretary Sports & YS Department is allowed to remain in additional charge of CMD, OPTCL.
Moreover, 2002 batch IAS officer Girish SN is appointed as appointed as Commissioner-cum-Secretary to Government, P.R. & D.W. Department.
Again 2008 batch IAS officer Guha Poonam Tapas Kumar, Special Secretary P.R. & D.W. Department with additional charge of CEO, ORMAS is appointed as Commissioner-cum-Secretary to Government, Handloom, Textiles & Handicrafts Department. She is allowed to remain in additional charge of Commissioner-cum-Secretary Excise Department.
The additional appointments of IAS officer Dr Arabinda Kumar Padhee as Principal Secretary Handloom, Textiles & Handicrafts Department and of IAS officer Sushil Kumar Lohani as Principal Secretary Excise Department shall stand terminated from the date Guha Poonam Tapas Kumar takes over.
