Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has announced an increase of Rs 10 in the minimum daily wage for workers. The Chief Minister has approved this proposal today. The hike will be implemented retrospectively from April 1.
Chief Minister Majhi, who has earned a reputation as the people’s Chief Minister, has increased this wage, keeping in mind the interests of the workers.
According to this decision, the minimum daily wage of unskilled workers has been increased from Rs 452 to Rs 462.
Similarly, the wage of semi-skilled workers has been increased from Rs 502 to Rs 512, the daily wage of skilled workers has been increased from Rs 552 to Rs 562 and the minimum daily wage of highly skilled workers has been increased from Rs 602 to Rs 612.
