Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government will regularise the service of 1022 Nursing Officers earlier inducted to the General Health Cadre.
The Health & Family Welfare (H&FW) Department on Monday issued a circular to the Chief District Medical & Public Health Officers (CDM&PHOs) of Angul, Bargarh, Bhadrak, Balasore, Bolangir, Boudh, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Gajapati, Ganjam, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur, Jharsuguda, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Khordha, Koraput, Keonjhar, Malkangiri, Mayurbhanj, Nabarangpur, Nayagarh, Nuapada, Puri, Rayagada, Sambalpur, Subarnapur and Sundargarh in this regard.
The H&FW Department decided on the recommendation of the same at the meeting of the High Power Committee held on 12 July this year.
“…. the High Power Committee in their meeting held on 12.07.2024 have recommended for regularisation of service of 1022 nos of Nursing Officers earlier inducted to General Health Care under different CDM & PHOs & MCHs of the state. The Recommendation of the High Power Committee, as above has been duly accepted by the Government in Health & Family Welfare Department in this context,” the letter reads.
