Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Tuesday appointed senior IAS officer Sanjay Kumar Biswal as the new Director of Information and Public Relations (I&PR), Bhubaneswar, as part of a reshuffle involving seven officers.
Biswal, an IAS officer of the 2015 Non-State Civil Service (NSCS) batch, was serving as Additional Secretary to the Government in the Commerce and Transport Department. He has now been appointed Director of Information and Public Relations, according to a notification issued by the General Administration & Public Grievance Department.
In other changes, Birendra Korkora (SCS-2014), currently Director of Secondary Education, has been appointed Additional Secretary in the Home Department.
Aradhana Das (SCS-2014), Additional Secretary in the Home Department, has been posted as Additional Secretary in the Forest, Environment & Climate Change Department.
Jugaleswari Dash (SCS-2015), Director of OBC, has been appointed Director of Secondary Education.
Archana Das Pattanaik (SCS-2015), Additional Secretary in the Excise Department, has been appointed Director of AYUSH.
Anjana Panda (SCS-2015), currently Director of AYUSH, has been posted as Additional Secretary in the Excise Department.
Sundara Madhaba Padhi (NSCS-2020), Deputy Secretary in the Works Department, has been appointed Chief Operating Officer of the Odisha Maritime Board. He will also continue to hold additional charge as General Manager of the Odisha State Road Transport Corporation (OSRTC).
