Bhubaneswar: The first merit list for admission to the two-year B.Ed, M.Ed and B.H.Ed courses in Odisha was published on Tuesday on the Student Academic Management System (SAMS) portal, with 2,825 candidates selected for admission.
According to an official statement, a total of 44,222 students had completed the choice-locking process for admission to the courses. Of the candidates selected in the first merit list, 1,329 are male and 1,496 are female.
The selected candidates who have opted for the freeze option will have to pay the admission fee online and complete the admission process by visiting the concerned higher education institution by August 14.
Candidates who have opted for the slide option are required to pay the admission fee online and wait for the publication of the second merit list.
There are a total of 2,825 seats available across 31 higher education institutions under the Higher Education Department for the two-year B.Ed, M.Ed and B.H.Ed courses.
