Bhubaneswar: The Odisha School Education Programme Authority (OSEPA) has announced that Summative Assessment-I (SA-I) for 2026-27 will be held in the fourth week of September 2026 for students of Shishu Vatika-III to Grade-VIII.
According to a letter issued by Amita Pattanaik, OES-I (SAG), Additional Director (Quality), OSEPA on August 28, the assessment will be held for students from Shishu Vatika-III to Grade-VIII in all Government and Government Aided schools across the state as per the Academic Calendar 2026-27 and Assessment Framework for School Education.
In her letter to all DEO-cum-DPCs, Samagra Shiksha, the Additional Director has stated that the assessment framework for School Education communicated to all DEO-cum-DPCs vide letter No. 7855 dated 17.07.2026 must be followed scrupulously while conducting the Summative Assessment-I in all Govt./ Govt. Aided Schools. DEO-cum-DPCs have been requested to take necessary steps for timely completion of SA-I in all schools.
