The Forest Department had made extensive preparations ahead of the reopening to ensure a smooth and hassle-free experience for visitors.
Spread across approximately 282 square kilometres, Kuldiha Wildlife Sanctuary is known for its rich biodiversity and dense forest cover. Tourists visiting the sanctuary can spot a variety of wildlife, including spotted deer, herds of elephants and Malabar giant squirrels, besides several other species.
The sanctuary is also home to a wide variety of trees, including sal, rosewood and shimul, which contribute to its lush green landscape and provide a natural habitat for numerous species of wildlife.
The reopening is expected to attract nature lovers, wildlife enthusiasts and tourists keen to explore the region’s forests and biodiversity.
The five-month closure had kept visitors away from the sanctuary, but its reopening has once again opened up opportunities for tourists to experience the natural beauty and wildlife of Kuldiha.
