Bhubaneswar: The results of the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE)-2026 were declared on Monday, paving the way for admissions into various technical and professional courses across the state for the 2026-27 academic session.
The results were formally released by Odisha’s Skill Development and Technical Education Minister, Sampad Chandra Swain, at a function attended by senior officials of the department and the OJEE authorities.
OJEE-2026 was conducted for admission into 16 technical and professional programmes offered by government and private universities and institutions in Odisha. The courses include B.CAT, LE-Tech. (Diploma), LE-Tech. (B.Sc.), B.Pharm, MBA, MCA, Integrated MBA, LE-Pharm, M.Pharm, M.Arch, M.Plan, M.Tech, Basic B.Sc Nursing, Post Basic B.Sc Nursing, M.Sc Nursing and Post Diploma Nursing.
The examination was conducted entirely in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. To facilitate candidates, 99 examination centres were established across all 30 districts of Odisha, along with centres in Kolkata, Patna and Ranchi.
According to official data, a total of 1,03,434 candidates registered for OJEE-2026, while 92,628 candidates appeared for the examination, registering an attendance rate of 89.55 per cent. Excluding Nursing programmes, ranks were awarded to 62,691 candidates based on their performance in their respective courses.
The OJEE authorities also announced the toppers across various streams. Among them, Shubhranshu Sutar secured the top rank in B.Pharm, Arun Kumar Jena in LE-Tech. (Diploma), Suraj Kumar Jha in LE-Tech. (B.Sc.), Debashish Behera in LE-Pharm, Tribikram Pradhan in MBA, Naren Patra in MCA/M.Sc. (Computer Science), Shreemayi Panigrahi in Integrated MBA, Deba Mandal in B.CAT, Shyamsundar Behera in M.Pharm, Sai Arya Anuska Nayak in M.Arch, Sagarika Acharya in M.Plan and Swagat Kumar Behera in M.Tech.

The programme was attended by Bhupendra Singh Punia, OJEE Chairman Debaprakash Satapathy, OJEE Secretary Ranjan Kumar Jena, Additional Chief Secretary Biswa Ranjan Rath, and other senior officials.
The declaration of results marks the beginning of the admission process for thousands of aspirants seeking entry into professional and technical courses in Odisha for the upcoming academic session.
