Cuttack: Popular Ollywood singer Shourin Bhatt who has been charged with harassment by an aspiring female singer has moved the Orissa High Court seeking anticipatory bail.
Sources said that Bhatt has claimed in his prayer for bail has stated that he is innocent and that charges levelled against him are baseless and with malicious intent.
It is pertinent to mention here that a woman had filed a complaint with the Mahila Police Station alleging that Bhatt had exploited her on the false promise of giving her a break in singing.
She also accused the singer of false promises of marriage, cheating, torture and exploitation. Bhatt also extorted Rs 10 lakh from her, she alleged.
