One Dead, One Injured After Bike Hits Cow Herd In Dhenkanal

Bhubaneswar: A young man reportedly died when the bike he was travelling in collided with a group of cows standing on the road near Anlabereni under Tumusinga police limits in Dhenkanal district on Monday.

The deceased has been identified as Bikash Sahu, a resident of Banakula village under Kamakhyanagar police station.

According to reports, Sahu was travelling from Kamakhyanagar towards Dhenkanal when the accident occurred. Another person riding the bike suffered serious injuries. The injured person was rushed to the Anlabereni Community Health Centre and later shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital, where his condition is stated to be stable.

Besides, the mishap claimed the death of a cow.
