Bhubaneswar: Light rain/thundershower with lightning and wind speeds of 25 to 30 kmph is likely to affect some parts of Jajpur, Mayurbhanj, Cuttack (including Cuttack City), Khurdha (including Bhubaneshwar City) within the next three hours. The regional center of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) in Bhubaneswar has issued an orange alert for rain in these areas.
People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
