Bhubaneswar: Odisha Small Industries Corporation (OSIC) today paid Rs 1,40,27,103 to the State government towards dividend for the year 2018-19.
OSIC Chairman Chinmaya Sahoo in the presence of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik presented a cheque to Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mahapatra for the dividend amount.
Worth mentioning, in 2018-19 OSIC had made a profit of Rs 4,67,46,996 after tax. Therefore, OSIC paid Rs 1,40,27,103 to the State government for 30 per cent of its profit.
Minister MSME Dibya Shankar Mishra, Principal Secretary MSME Department Ranjana Chopra and others were present at Lokseba Bhavan during the function organised through video conferencing.
Secretary to CM (5T) VK Pandian was also present.
