Panchayat GRS Killed, Body Dumped In Canal In Odisha’s Ganjam

Ganjam: A panchayat gram rojgar sevak (GRS) of Sanaustapada panchayat under Beguniapada police limits in Odisha’s Ganjam district was brutally killed on Tuesday and his body dumped in a canal in Kanyaribadi.

The deceased has been identified as Sushil Kumar Mohanty of Sanaustapada in Ganjam.

Sushil’s body bore several injury marks giving rise to suspicion that he was murdered. However, the reason behind the crime is yet to be ascertained.

Meanwhile, Susil’s family has lodged a complaint with the Beguniapada police, who are investigating the unnatural death.
