Bhubaneswar: A patient died while being transported to Nischintakoili Community Health Centre to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack.

The deceased has been identified as Pradyumna Panda.

According to reports,  Pradyumna was being transported from Nischintakoili CHC to SCB Medical College and Hospital when the ambulance developed a technical snag near Paga Square. Despite efforts by the driver to restart the ambulance, it failed to start for over an hour. The patient was eventually shifted to another 108 ambulance and taken to SCB Medical College and Hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival.

Meanwhile, Pradyumna’s family alleged that the breakdown of the ambulance and lack of oxygen supply led to his death. A video of the incident has gone viral on social media, showing the ambulance driver trying to start the vehicle.
