Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate Police in Bhubaneswar has constituted a ‘Pink Team’ to probe the multi-dimensional crime of fake doctor Ramesh Swain, informed Commissioner Saumendra Priyadarshi on Friday.
A councillor and chartered accountant are also part of the team that comprises female officers and is headed by an Additional DCP rank officer. If needed the team will also be sent outside Odisha.
There are around 14 cases registered against Swain who has committed several frauds to the tune of Rs 1.5 crores. Meanwhile, the Commissionerate Police is in contact with various banks to unearth the financial transactions of Swain.
