Bhadrak: A Plus II student was found with severe injuries near a canal at Nalanga village under Bhadrak Rural police limits on Tuesday morning.
The minor, who sustained multiple injuries to his head and neck, was first spotted by villagers lying near the canal. He was immediately rescued and rushed to the District Headquarters Hospital (DHH), Bhadrak, where he is currently undergoing treatment.
According to reports, locals noticed the boy in a critical condition during the early hours and alerted his family members. An ambulance was arranged, and he was shifted to the hospital without delay.
While the exact circumstances leading to the incident remain unclear, police reached the spot upon being informed and have started an investigation.
